Are we ready to face a hybrid-warfare?

It looks like the fierce confrontation at the India-China Line of Actual Control (LAC) is nothing but a distraction to hide the real warfare that is going on behind the scenes.

China is an expert in hybrid warfare that uses non-military means to gain domination over another country.

Hybrid warfare is a military strategy that mixes political warfare, diplomatic warfare, and cyber warfare along with other disruptive and unorthodox methods such as spreading fake news, carrying out disinformation campaigns, inciting social discords, disrupting economic activities, financing left-wing extremists, intervening in national / local elections, etc.

A new report claims that the Chinese Government is tracking over 10,000 Indians, entities from politics to business, judiciary to media, even crime-accused, using big-data and data mining technologies.
"Not just influential individuals in the political and official establishment; Indians being monitored cut across disciplines. They include bureaucrats in key positions; judges; scientists and academicians; journalists; actors and sportspersons; religious figures and activists."
And since such data snooping does not leave any trails, the Indian Government cannot take any open action to probe the foul play in the absence of any proof.
