The term Kanyadaan  signifying a Hindu wedding ceremony, translates to "giving away one's daughter". My 14-year old grandson, Tanay, lives in Dubai. During his last visit he accompanied me on my morning walks when I conversed with him on a variety of topics such as religion, spirituality, science, philosophy, etc.
