The Future of Humanity!

If you can resonate with terms like blackhole, universe, multiverse, white-hole, final theory of everything, string theory, the mind of God, etc. then this video by Prof Michio Kaku on The Future of Humanity is for you.

Hear him explain the two mysteries confronted by humanity today:
  •  What happened before creation, why Big Bang, are there other universes in the outer space?
  •  What goes on in the inner space where we have 100 billion neurons in our brain, that is as many stars as in the Milky-way galaxy?
He says that our brain is a learning machine with a pattern seeking neural network. That the future of Internet is Brain-net, which, instead of sending digital signals as on the Internet, will send emotions, memories, and feelings. Also, hear Prof Michio Kaku explaining why, when a man talks to a pretty girl, he acts so stupid and mentally retarded!

To see how fast we have progressed in the last 50 years, realize that the computing power of the whole of ISRO of the 1980s is available today on a single smartphone!

And remember that it was with this computing power that we built our first Remote Sensing Satellite, Bhaskara-1 weighing 442kg and launched it from Russia in 1979 and successfully launched onboard the SLV-3, the Rohini Satellite RS-1, from SHAR Centre in 1980.

As part of the team that developed the Image Processing Software for the Bhaskara-1 remotely sensed data, I remember that we progressively upgraded our computers during 1976-1985, from IBM System/360 Model 44 with 64KB RAM, to the PDP-11/70 Mini Computer with 4MB RAM, and to the VAX-11/780 Supermini Computer with 8MB RAM. Now compare that with your smartphone with 8GB  RAM!
