You Are Under Surveillance!
Sometimes when I look up a particular address in Google Map, like that of a house, restaurant, shop, etc. I get that strange and creepy feeling when Google tells me about that place: 'You visited in (Month or Day)'!
Especially when the visit was years ago and you have completely forgotten about it.
At times such a recollection may turn out be a pleasant one or something that you don't want to recall at all! In any case how useful is that information? Google further gives you an option to 'Visit your timeline'. Now you get the complete details of that visit - the date of travel, along with the start time, end time, driving distance, driving time, and the route you followed on the Map. And also similar details for the return trip.
I can't think of any use for such particulars for ordinary folks like me, unless you are an investigator and want to establish some point in a court of law. But wait! It seems there is a multibillion-dollar industry that buys, packages, and sells people’s movements. Read all about it here:

The all-seeing eye of Google, and other similar apps, would be able to track you everywhere and know everything that you do. In short, many agencies can put you under surveillance with your own smartphone, without your knowledge!! How scary and spooky is that?!!
