How Can We Matter

Yesterday, I drove down from Bangalore to Kozhikode - a 10 hour drive with just two breaks for breakfast and lunch, which we had carried with us.

It sounds like an oxymoron - Brainless Advertising! But I have come to the conclusion that some of the most intelligent people are using Artificial Intelligence, in the most stupid manner. When I watch a YouTube or Facebook video, I see advertisements popping up disrupting the flow of the report / story / music / movie that I am following. Naturally, my first priority is how to stop this intervention.

Has anyone utilized this landmark judgement (that declared rivers as “living human entities”), pronounced five years ago, for the purpose of rejuvenating and preserving any rivers or lakes in our country?

My wife Vasantha Unnikrishnan got a shock this morning seeing this small lake visible through our bedroom balcony - a view that she enjoys every morning, swaying back and forth in a swing, enchanted by the amphitheater, artificial stream, natural water body, green plants and trees, grazing cattle, distant apartment buildings, and vehicles plying on the elevated Hosur Road Expressway in the yonder.
