Internal Body Vibrations!

Yesterday, I drove down from Bangalore to Kozhikode - a 10 hour drive with just two breaks for breakfast and lunch, which we had carried with us.

After reaching Kozhikode at 4 pm, while sitting in the dining room, I felt that the floor was vibrating. On checking with others, no one felt it. Then I came to the bedroom and sat on the bed with legs up. Still the vibration was there. So the conclusion is that the vibration was coming from my body. On closer examination I could feel the trembling sensation on all parts of my body; however, there was no visible shivering or any physical movement!

It was completely perplexing to me. Also, no one had experienced or heard about such a weird phenomenon that I tried to explain with as much clarity as possible. They tried to dismiss it by saying that it must be something imaginary playing up in my mind, as I was completely exhausted by the long drive.

But I was positive that it was a physical sensation and not anything mental that I was conjuring up. Has any of my readers experienced this strange happening?

My next step was to ask the omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent Bhagwan! I pulled out my mobile and Googled for "vibration throughout the body". Prompt came the answer:
"Internal vibrations are like tremors that happen inside your body. You can’t see internal vibrations, but you can feel them. They produce a quivering sensation inside your arms, legs, chest, or abdomen."
What’s Causing My Internal Vibrations?

I felt elated reading it, since this is precisely what I was experiencing! But when I looked further for the causes of these vibrations, I felt a little scared, as the article says:
"Tremors are caused by damage in your brain affecting the nerves that control your muscles. Internal vibrations are thought to stem from the same causes as tremors. The shaking may simply be too subtle to see."
"Nervous system conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), and essential tremor can all cause these tremors. One study reported that 33 percent of people with Parkinson’s disease had internal vibrations. Thirty-six percent of people with MS and 55 percent of people with essential tremor also reported feeling internal vibrations. Sometimes, anxiety can cause or worsen the tremors."
So that is where I am - a strange phenomenon that needs very elaborate tests with modern equipment and procedures for proper diagnosis by an experienced neurologist; and possibly just endure with no cure!

My simple conclusion is that blood was not flowing correctly as I was sitting continuously in the car for 10 hours. And when I came out of that constricted position the blood suddenly started flowing freely throughout the body, resulting in the internal vibrations.
