How Can We Matter

Here is a brief and beautiful description of four well-known subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History.

Just as we wear different clothes for different occassions and places, we also wear, consciously or unconsciously, different face masks!

In today's context of the nation and people getting divided by the small-minded politicians and leaders with vested interests, I thought I shall share some of my personal experiences.

On Feb 26, 2019 evening PM Modi unveiled the world's largest Bhagavad Gita at Delhi's ISKCON temple. The giant book that ISKCON created weighs 800 kg, measures 2.8 m x  2 m , and runs into 670 pages! "Dubbed the Astounding Bhagavad Gita , it is billed as the largest principal sacred text ever to be printed," the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) said.

Is there any purpose or explanation at the core of our existence ? Is there God or any other transcendent force ? This is a rather long post touching on existential questions involving the meaning of life !  Well, if you are still interested read on.

During the 2014 elections Indians were incensed over the enduring culture of corruption at all levels of the government and this was the prime factor that helped Modi to become the PM. Now, on the eve of the 2019 elections, the opposition leaders are unable to find any major faults with Modi's governance. Lacking any concrete programs for the development of the country, the Congress party has decided to attack Modi with the same coin - a mega corruption case - in spite of the fact that Modi has an unblemished track record in public life . Though Supreme Court , after examining the relevant strategic and confidential documents, have completely ruled out any probe in the Rafale deal , the Congress President has stated that he will take the issue to the ‘ People’s Court ’!
