Sustaining a Strong Immune System

It is rather ironic that we don't notice our body has a strong immune system when it is running smoothly! A system made up of various organs, cells, and proteins that protects our body from harmful substances, germs, and cell changes that could make us ill.

Boosting our body's immunity and living in harmony with the nature and our environment should have been the humanity's best disease prevention measure.

Instead, we have been conditioned by the medical and pharmaceutical industries to believe that there is a medicine for every ill and therefore you can live with gay abandon by adopting carefree lifestyles and by consuming all types of junk food without worrying about its consequences.

However, the imminent danger that the global pandemic, Covid19, has posed to the humankind and the lack of an effective vaccine against it have made everyone aware of the importance of increasing one's immunity.

Sometimes, I feel it is rather unfortunate that the whole pharmaceutical industry is working on overdrive today in the race against a new vaccine, because once they come up with a new one then we'll all be back to our wayward ways.

It is in this context that my old Facebook post on an immunity boosting food, Pazhankanji, has gained a new lease of life now! This ageless miracle of a food will come handy to many today:
