Monkey Theorem in Statistics!

It is a real pity to see the most talented Congress MP Shashi Tharoor in a pathetic and deplorable situation doing the subservient duties of supporting 'the family'.

Why is Shashi Tharoor, who is hobnobbing with academics, intellectuals, and celebrities on the world stage, withering away his talents in 'the family' party that is becoming more and more irrelevant in the Indian politics. The only reason we can think of is that, thanks to his party membership, he is enjoying the perks and privileges as a Member of Parliament from his home state, though the salary he gets is just pocket money for this high net worth individual.

Under what compulsions is this 64-year old intellectual giant and an international diplomat of long standing and reputation working under a 50-year old boss, an intellectual pygmy not endowed with any education worth mentioning or professional experience in any field, who lacks any ability to grasp what is actually going on around him. Like a kid playing video games obsessively he sits and tweets, day in and day out, with a vengeance against his perceived arch rival, Modi.

I am reminded of the infinite monkey theorem in Statistics, and it goes something like this: Given enough time, a monkey randomly striking keys on a typewriter will end up typing out a copy of Shakespeare's Hamlet of 30,000 words. So, one can certainly accomplish a tweet in a much shorter time, especially when it is nothing but gibberish!
